Local student in ISU President’s Scholars class

TERRE HAUTE — Ellie Ray of Pendleton is among 22 incoming students at Indiana State University to receive its President’s Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year.

The scholarship provides full, in-state tuition and on-campus housing for a total four-year value of more than $80,000 for first-year students.

To be considered for the President’s Scholarship, candidates must meet two of the following three criteria: a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of at least a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale, a score of 1270 SAT or 27 on the ACT, and a rank in the top 10% of their senior class.
