Virgle Noel Brown, 84, Greenfield, passed away Feb. 29, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1928 in Tennessee, and resided in Greenfield.

He is survived by his children, Betty Louise England of Crossville, Tennessee, R.B. Brown (Dava) of Gainsville, Texas, Darlene (Jim) Wall of Whiteland and Tim (Cheryl) Brown of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Chris Brown of Anderson; 20 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Chamie & Beatrice (Denton) Brown; wife of 64 years, Hessie M. (Tinch) Brown on Feb. 9, 2008; children, Clara Marie (Brown) Cantrell Raver and Otis Brown; 2 grandchildren; and son-in-law, Billy England.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson. Services were held Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Ledbetter officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson. www.LooseCares.com
