Marjorie Creason Nelson, 84, Anderson, died March 23, 2012, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident.
A 1946 graduate of Anderson High School, Marjorie was a homemaker and member of Markleville North Christian Church. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her four children, Roger Creason (Linda) of Markleville, Penny Bixler (John) of Anderson, John Creason of Anderson & Jennifer Thomas (Eric) of Anderson; two brothers, Harry Hedges, Jr. (Kay) of Anderson & Joseph Hedges (Geri) of Louisiana; sister, Linda Spaulding (Dave) of Anderson; nine grandchildren, Shelly Chamberlin, Todd Bixler, Brint (Tami) Kosmicki; Nicholas Creason, Justin Bixler (Kristen), Erin (Jon) Neale, Ashley Bixler, Garret Creason & Griffin Thomas; six great grandchildren, Taylar, Morgan & Shelby Kosmicki, Alexa Chamberlin, Jackson Bixler & Wyatt Neale; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Mildred (Anderson) Hedges; first husband, Keith D. Creason, in October of 1984; second husband, Charles Nelson, in February 1992, and a grandson, Kevin Bixler.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.
Services will be Thursday, March 29, 2012, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Gerald Burnett officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
