MADISON COUNTY — Early voting in Madison County for the Nov. 5 general election begins next week, with the opportunity for voters to cast their ballot at the courthouse or at satellite voting locations prior to Election Day.
At the courthouse, 16 E. Ninth St., Anderson, early voting runs from Oct. 8 through Nov. 4. People will be able to cast ballots from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays through Nov. 1; from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays Oct. 26 and Nov. 2; or from 8 a.m. to noon Monday, Nov. 4.
There will also be early voting at seven satellite locations throughout the county from Oct. 28 through Nov. 1.
All satellite locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28; Tuesday, Oct. 29; Wednesday, Oct. 30; Thursday, Oct. 31; and Friday, Nov. 1. They will also be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.

Cross Roads is the only satellite location that joins the courthouse offering voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
On Election Day, voters will be able to cast ballots from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at any of 30 vote center locations, which include the seven locations listed above.
All locations comply with ADA standards.
