ALEXANDRIA — The 2024 Madison County 4-H Fair is set for Sunday, July 21, through Saturday, July 27, at Madison County 4-H Fairgrounds at 501 S. Park Ave., Alexandria.
Besides daily 4-H shows and exhibits, there will be live music each night and amusement rides 5 p.m. to close daily beginning July 22.
The Madison County 4-H Fair Queen Pageant is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at the Farm Bureau 4-H Building.
This year’s candidates are Allie Clark of Alexandria-Monroe High School; Emma Pattison of Madison-Grant High School; and Paige Dupps of Ivy Tech Community College.
The crown will pass from 2023 Madison County 4-H Fair Queen Emma Harvey, a recent Pendleton Heights High School graduate.
There is no admission cost for the fair. Parking costs $5.
