MARKLEVILLE — The first Markleville Antique Tractor Pull of the 2018 season took place Saturday, June 16, at Markleville Park.
Weight-in began at 9 a.m. and the pull began at 11 a.m.
There were dozens of events in multiple divisions, with the cost to compete in events ranging from $20 to $25. The payouts to winners in two of the divisions were $125 for first, $75 for second place, $50 for third place and $25 for fourth; payout is 50/50 for classes with less than 25 tractors; in the other two divisions, payout was either 50 or 80 percent.
Other pulls this year are set for Saturdays July 7, Aug. 4 and Sept. 1.
