Ed “JR” Robinson, 72, of Pendleton, died March 10, 2012, at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Landis J. (Mount) Robinson, whom he married March 21, 1994; son, Daniel (Cheryl) Robinson of Pennsylvania; daughter, Peggy Jean (Fred) Frauschmeier of Wilmington, NC; sister, Marcia (George) Gunther of Anderson; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ed Alexander and Violet (Sears) Robinson, Sr.; and brother, Billy Robinson.
A visitation was held from 4 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Cremation will follow with burial and military graveside honors at Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Huntsville/ Good Shepherd Community Church, American Diabetes Association or the donor’s favorite charity.
