Marvin Wallace Solomon
Marvin Wallace Solomon , 87, of Wilkinson, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. He was born April 19, 1924, in Henry County to the late Frank and Margaret (Robertson) Solomon.
Survivors include his daughter, Jan (Dennis) Fisher of Wilkinson; son, Kurt (Cheryl) Solomon of Wilkinson; five granddaughters; one grandson; four great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; brothers, Wayne (Martha) Solomon of Lapel, David Solomon of Indianapolis; sisters, Madalene Young of Markleville, Susie Adams of Tampa Fla., and Nellie (David) Wright of Orlando, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lilyan Solomon, in 1999; and one grandson in 1975.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, with Kurt Solomon and Gary Sickle officiating. Burial will follow at Harlan Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012.
