Orabelle Giddings, age 71, of Arcadia, died on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at her home following an extended illness. She was born on July 22, 1940, in Muncie, Ind., to Ralph and Mary (Sylvester) Wells.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Giddings; children, Patty (Dan) Waugh of Noblesville, Lori (Richard) Gray of Gosport, and Rich Giddings of Arcadia; four grandchildren; and one brother, David Wells of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Marian Gerber.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Monday, October 24, 2011, at

the Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
