John Ronald “Ron” Cassidy, age 76, of Forsyth, Mo. and Ingalls, died on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at his Ingalls home.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Cheryl (Roland) Cassidy; three daughters, Kelly (Royce) Kimble of Ingalls, Debbie (Sonny) Head of Fortville, Kammy (Benny) Wade of Fortville; step-children, Ron (Rhonda) Mills of Pendleton, Rick (Brandi) Mills of Pendleton, Melissa (Joe) Peggs of Knightstown; brother, Jay (Patty) Cassidy of Bradenton, Fla.; six grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Ruth (McAdams) Cassidy; infant son, John; and brother, Steve Cassidy.

 Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, and 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at the funeral home, with Rev. Ron Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown.
