Joseph Edward "Joe" Fish, 73, Anderson, died Wednesday, June 29,

2011, at Community Hospital in Anderson following after an extended period of declining health. He was born on Dec. 28, 1937, in Elwood, Ind. to Paul and Juanita (Sylvester) Fish.

He is survived by three children, Connie (husband, Billy) Boyer of Anderson, Roger Fish of Anderson, and Brian Fish of Markleville; two grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (wife, Dee) Fish of Mo., and John Fish of Texas; three step-children, Lavonne McGuire, Susie McGuire, and Richard McGuire; and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Josephine Fish; one brother, Arthur Fish; two sisters, Loice Pardue, and Sue VanDuyn; a step-daughter, Teresa McGuire; and a step-granddaughter.

Visitation was from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
